Terms & Conditions – Exminster Business Directory

Effective Date: 1st August 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Exminster Business Directory website and services. By accessing the directory or purchasing a business listing, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Directory

1.1 The Exminster Business Directory is provided to help residents and visitors find local businesses in Exminster.
1.2 Content on the directory is for general information purposes only. While we aim to keep listings accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any business information.
1.3 Users must not use the directory for unlawful purposes, spam, or any activity that may disrupt the service.

2. Business Listings

2.1 All business listings in the Exminster Business Directory are paid listings.
2.2 Businesses are responsible for providing accurate and lawful information for their listings, including text, images, and contact details.
2.3 We reserve the right to reject or remove listings that are inappropriate, misleading, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 All listing payments are handled securely through Stripe.
3.2 Payments are taken monthly or annually in advance, according to the chosen plan.
3.3 Payment will renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation terms (see Section 5).
3.4 In the event of failed payment, we will notify you. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, the listing may be suspended until payment is received.

4. Fees

4.1 Current fees are displayed on our website at the time of purchase.
4.2 We reserve the right to update fees, with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.

5. Cancellation & Notice Period

5.1 You may cancel your listing at any time by providing at least 30 days’ written notice before the next billing date.
5.2 Cancellations made with less than 30 days’ notice will result in the next payment being taken before cancellation takes effect.
5.3 No partial refunds are provided for unused periods.

6. Refunds

6.1 Due to the nature of the service, all payments are non‑refundable except where required by law.

7. Liability

7.1 We will not be liable for any loss of business, revenue, or reputation resulting from the inclusion (or removal) of your listing on the directory.
7.2 We do not guarantee any specific number of views, leads, or sales.

8. Changes to Terms

8.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of the service will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
